What we love about San Francisco
As Paul Kantner once said "San Francisco is 49 square miles surrounded by reality". And who needs reality when San Francisco creates her own!

San Francisco feels alive with vibrancy and an irresistible energy that's almost palpable. One moment she can be shrouded in a morning fog and the next bathed in dazzling sun before succumbing to a rainstorm blown in from the ocean. As you explore the city's precipitous streets, cruise the blue-green waters of the bay or enjoy the beauty of her parks, you will constantly feel an underlying excitement. This is all part of exploring one of America's most beautiful cities.

San Francisco is a patchwork of neighborhoods, some subtly different from the next, others declaring their individuality. There's gentrified Nob Hill with tree-lined streets and elegant houses, and the Western Addition with colorful Victorian 'painted ladies'. The multicultural Mission District is renowned for its restaurants, while Union Square is a center for high-end retail shopping.
Little Italy, Japan Town, and Chinatown will make you feel like you've been transported to another world. The Castro is the gay hub of the city, and some would argue, the world. The Haight will bring back long-forgotten memories of peace and love from the 60s. There's also the bustling Embarcadero, relaxed Fisherman's Wharf, 'The Rock' on The Bay, and finally Golden Gate Park's 1,000 acres of enjoyment.

There’s much to discover outside the city within a short driving distance. For example, Sausalito hosts one of the world’s largest houseboat populations. Walk through an extremely rare grove of California Redwoods at Muir Woods boasting some of the oldest trees in the world. Santa Cruz and the wine region of Napa Valley offer a relaxing afternoon with amazing views.
